Privacy Policy

Account information. Your name, email address, phone number and account type (candidate or company). Passwords are handled by our authentication provider; we never see or store your password.

Profile information you choose to add. For candidates: flight hours, licences, type ratings, licence and passport countries, your location, a profile photo, and documents you upload such as your CV and licence or certificate files. For companies: company name, country, operations, fleet, description and an optional pay-scale image.

Location.If you allow it, your device’s location, used to show distances to jobs and to place you on maps. You can decline location access and still use AOGI.

Content you create. Job posts, applications and expressions of interest, saved items, messages, community posts, comments and likes, and any reports you submit.

Device information. A push-notification token, used only to deliver notifications to your device.

Advertising enquiries. If you use the advertising form on our website, the details you enter (name, company, email, phone, budget and message).

We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

• To run AOGI: showing jobs to candidates and candidate profiles to companies, and enabling messaging.
• To send notifications you ask for, such as new interest in your job or nearby AOG (Aircraft on Ground) jobs.
• To keep the community safe: reviewing reports, removing content that breaks our rules, and blocking.
• To answer your support requests and advertising enquiries.
• To maintain, secure and improve the service.

• Companies on AOGIcan see candidate profiles, including flight hours, licences, ratings and uploaded documents. If you hide your phone number, companies don’t see it. If you hide your location, you don’t appear on any map; when your location is visible, maps show it approximately (within about 5 miles), never your exact position.
• Candidates can see company profiles and job posts.
• Other users can see community posts, comments and likes.
• The people you message can see those messages.

We share information with providers that run parts of AOGI for us, only as needed to provide the service:

• Google Firebase — sign-in, database, file storage and push notifications.
• Google Maps Platform — maps and place search.
• Netlify — website hosting.

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes your profile, uploaded documents, job posts, applications, saved items, conversations, community posts and comments. You can also ask us to delete your account by emailing support@aircraftsonground.com.

Deleted information is removed from our active systems. We may keep limited information where the law requires it.

• Edit your profile, email and phone number at any time in the app.
• Hide your phone number or your location from your profile settings.
• Turn notifications on or off in Settings or your device settings.
• Block other users, and report content that breaks our rules.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your information, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, email support@aircraftsonground.com.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

AOGI is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we’ll delete it.

We may update this policy. When we make significant changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
